Recipe: Creamy Ranch Chicken With Noodles
Preheat oven to 350. It takes about 30 minutes to completely cook everything.
- (1 pack) boneless chicken tenderloins
- Olive Oil
- Sour cream
- Heavy whipping cream
- Chicken broth
- Ranch seasoning (you can substitute lemon juice if you want; we just used ranch bc we didn't have any lemon juice)
- Noodles (I used angel hair)
- Garlic powder
- Parmesan cheese
First, pour a little bit of olive oil into the pan and let it get hot. Then, put the chicken into the pan and sear it until it gets a little brown. Put the chicken in the preheated oven to 350 and set the timer for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, boil some water for the noodles. Once it starts boiling, put the noodles in it with a spoonful of butter.
For the cream sauce, put some butter and flour into a pan and stir it around until it looks like sand (color and consistency), then like 2 cups of chicken broth, a dash or two of ranch seasoning, 2 spoonfuls of sour cream and a cup of heavy whipping cream. Stir around until it becomes creamy. Add the capers and lastly add the thyme.
Take the chicken out of the oven quickly and pour the sauce on it, then put it back in the oven for the remaining time. Strain your noodles, then put a dash or two of garlic powder and Parmesan cheese on them.
Take the chicken out and put it on the noodles and enjoy!
